Grab a vibration analyzer, or just watch it closely: does the whole deck move smoothly, or is it shaking funny or uneven? If the motion isn’t right, you’re probably dealing with worn-out bearings, damaged motor keys, or counterweights that slipped. Also, double-check the frequency and amplitude settings; someone might’ve bumped them by accident.
Symptom: Excessive Noise or Bearing Overheating
Loud noises or hot bearings should get your immediate attention. Most of the time, it’s a lubrication problem. Check grease levels and look at the grease itself. Water or fine particles can ruin lubrication fast. If the grease is fine but the problem sticks around, the bearings might be worn out from bad alignment or carrying too much weight—maybe the deck’s blind and heavy.
